Joshua Hernandez (he/they) was born in Miami, Florida to Puerto Rican and Cuban parents and is a dual citizen of the United States and Spain. Joshua is an actor, writer, director, and producer based in Brooklyn, New York. Their films EZRA and RIVER have screened at LGBTQ+ film festivals worldwide including OutFest Fusion, NewFest, and Inside Out Toronto. They are a recipient of the 2023 Miami Dade County Artist Grant and the 2021 New York Foundation for the Arts City Artist Corps Grant.
Joshua is a proud member of SAG-AFTRA and the Actors’ Equity Association can be seen on Episode 4 of DEAR EDWARD on Apple TV+.
